Beckie was a Critical Care nurse for over 14 years. She attended the Global Awakening School of Supernatural Ministry (GSSM) from 2008-2010. She then entered in to full time missions work. Beckie served as the Speaker Care Coordinator for GSSM-South Africa for over two years. She was a volunteer with The Mordecai Project helping with their child sponsorship program. She was also a volunteer with the Uganda Orphans Fund for almost three years and most recently was their On-site Director full time n Uganda for almost two years.
