Edith gave her heart to Jesus at an early age only to then find herself caught up in the world. She served as an Officer in the US Navy where she quickly learned the value of teamwork and the importance of living a life of integrity. She was selected as The Instructor of the Year at the last Command she served at within the Navy. Upon rededicating her life to the Lord and giving Him Lordship over her life, Edith’s heart was ignited with a passion for the things of God and she attended many of the training opportunities and equipping Conferences at the Global School of Supernatural Ministry (GSSM) under Randy Clark. She ministered within the Eastern District in the Baltimore area while going on Ridealongs with the Baltimore Police Department and saw the crime rate reduced to a thirty year low as the Faith-based Iniative was implemented there. Edith enjoys “Power Evangelism” and re- presenting the Love of Jesus to the lost within the inner cities of the United States and abroad as she travels to the nations following the command of Jesus to disciple nations. She is excited to seek out the gold within others and she encourages and edifies the Body of Christ wherever she goes. She is actively pursuing the artistic gifts the Lord has given her along with her love of writing. The Flights of Fancy Children’s Series came into being via a drawing which led to a painting which a friend heard the Lord say was to become a series of books. Edith Houghton has been traveling with Radical Launch International Ministries as an Itinerant Minister for the past several years, both within the United States and overseas. She is the Co-founder of Unleashed Publishing, Inc. with Trina Olson along with other Kingdom building projects including a Ministry House where they offer Retreats to train and equip others to step into their divine purpose and destiny. Together with Trina, she is also working to bring forth the JP5 Project which will provide a place for Christians to celebrate the Lord as they are equipped and empowered to walk in the supernatural ways of the Lord while bridging the gap between the secular world and the Kingdom of God.
